Wildflower Crescent Moon Black Cat Suncatcher

Black cats deserve their own night sky. This suncatcher is cut in a crescent moon shape, and a black cat sleeps in its curve, tail wrapped around its paws. Watercolor wildflowers — cornflower blue, poppy pink, a little yellow — grow along the outer edge, so the dark cat is framed by colour rather than lost in it.

The piece is a watercolor-style illustration printed on acrylic. It is especially lovely in an evening window where the last light of the day comes in low.

• Shape: crescent moon, hangs from a chain at the upper tip.
• Sizes: 6 in or 8 in tall (approximate).
• For: black cat families, moon and garden lovers, a gift for a new cat adopter.

Because of the crescent shape, the 8 in size has noticeably more presence on a large window, while the 6 in size works well on a mirror or a narrow pane.
