Finding your order number and email</h2>\n<p>The order number is in the subject line and at the top of the confirmation email we send as soon as you check out. It is a number on its own, without letters. The email address to enter is the billing email, which is the one that received that confirmation.</p>\n<h3>If you cannot find the confirmation</h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Search your inbox for &#8220;Pet Petal&#8221; or &#8220;petpetal.shop&#8221;.</li>\n<li>Look in spam, junk, promotions or updates folders. Some mail apps file order emails there automatically.</li>\n<li>If you have more than one email address, check the others; a browser may have filled in an older address at checkout.</li>\n<li>If the order was a gift from someone else, ask them for the order number, or ask them to contact us.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Still nothing? Email <a href=\"mailto:support@petpetal.shop\">support@petpetal.shop</a> with your full name, the delivery address and roughly when you ordered. We can find the order and resend the details to the billing email on file.</p>\n<h3>When the form says it cannot find the order</h3>\n<p>The most common reasons are a mistyped order number, a space before or after the email address, or using the recipient&#8217;s email instead of the billing email. Copy the number straight from your confirmation and try again. If it still does not work, write to us and we will check it for you.</p>\n<h2>2. What each status means</h2>\n<p>Your order moves through a few stages on our side before it starts its journey. The form above shows the current status of your order. Here is what each one means and what, if anything, you need to do.</p>\n<table class=\"policy-table\">\n<caption>Pet Petal order statuses and what to do</caption>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"col\">Status</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">What it means</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">What you can do</th>\n</tr>\n</thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Pending payment</td>\n<td>The order was started but payment has not been completed.</td>\n<td>Check whether the payment went through. If not, place the order again or email us.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>On hold</td>\n<td>The order is waiting for something, such as a payment confirmation or a reply from you.</td>\n<td>Look for an email from us. If there is none, contact us so we can explain.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Processing</td>\n<td>Payment is received and your piece is being printed, finished and packed. This usually takes 1–3 business days.</td>\n<td>Within 24 hours of ordering you can still ask for a change or cancellation.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Completed</td>\n<td>Your order has left us and is on its way to the delivery address.</td>\n<td>Watch for our shipping email. Allow 7–14 business days in transit. If the address is wrong, email us at once.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Cancelled</td>\n<td>The order was cancelled, by your request or by us with an email explaining why.</td>\n<td>Nothing; if you did not expect this, email us.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Refunded</td>\n<td>Some or all of the order has been refunded.</td>\n<td>See our Refund Policy for how refunds reach you.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Failed</td>\n<td>The payment did not go through, so no order was placed.</td>\n<td>Try again with one of the methods shown at checkout.</td>\n</tr>\n</tbody>\n</table>\n<h2>3. Following the journey after it leaves us</h2>\n<p>When your order is on its way, we email you. If a tracking number is available for your parcel, it is included in that email, along with the details you need to follow it. Status updates during the journey come from the delivery service rather than from us, so the wording can differ from country to country.</p>\n<p>A few things are normal and not a cause for worry:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A quiet start.</strong> A parcel that has just left us may show no movement at first.</li>\n<li><strong>Quiet days at the border.</strong> Parcels to Canada, Australia and New Zealand cross a border, because Pet Petal ships from the USA. They can go quiet while customs checks take place.</li>\n<li><strong>Weekend and holiday pauses.</strong> Business days do not include weekends or public holidays in either country.</li>\n<li><strong>Several parcels.</strong> An order with very different items, such as a fleece blanket and a ceramic ornament, can travel in more than one parcel and arrive on different days.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Journey updates you may see</h3>\n<p>The delivery service uses its own words, and they vary between the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The table below groups the most common ones and explains what they usually mean for a Pet Petal parcel.</p>\n<table class=\"policy-table\">\n<caption>Common delivery updates and what they mean</caption>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"col\">Update you see</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">Usual meaning</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">What to do</th>\n</tr>\n</thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Label created or shipment information received</td>\n<td>Your parcel has been registered for its journey and is waiting to be collected or scanned.</td>\n<td>Nothing yet. The first movement can take a little while to appear.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Accepted or picked up</td>\n<td>The parcel is now with the delivery service.</td>\n<td>Allow 7–14 business days in transit from here.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>In transit</td>\n<td>The parcel is moving between sorting points, possibly across a border.</td>\n<td>Nothing; quiet days in this stage are normal.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Held by customs or clearance in progress</td>\n<td>The destination country is checking the parcel on arrival.</td>\n<td>Usually nothing. If you are contacted about import charges, those depend on the destination country; email us if you are unsure.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Out for delivery</td>\n<td>The parcel is with a local driver or postal worker and should arrive that day.</td>\n<td>Make sure someone can receive it, or that there is a safe place for it.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Delivered</td>\n<td>The delivery service has recorded the parcel as handed over or left at the address.</td>\n<td>If you cannot find it, follow the steps in section 7.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Delivery exception or attempted delivery</td>\n<td>Something stopped delivery, such as no access, an address problem or nobody available to sign.</td>\n<td>Check for a card or message from the delivery service, then email us with your order number.</td>\n</tr>\n</tbody>\n</table>\n<h2>4. How long each stage usually takes</h2>\n<table class=\"policy-table\">\n<caption>Typical timing by stage, all four destinations</caption>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"col\">Stage</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">Typical length</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">Counted from</th>\n</tr>\n</thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Change or cancel window</td>\n<td>24 hours</td>\n<td>The time you placed the order</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Preparation (printing, finishing, packing)</td>\n<td>1–3 business days</td>\n<td>Payment confirmed</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Transit to the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand</td>\n<td>7–14 business days</td>\n<td>The day your parcel leaves us</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Order to doorstep</td>\n<td>About 8–17 business days</td>\n<td>The day you ordered</td>\n</tr>\n</tbody>\n</table>\n<p>These are estimates rather than promised dates. If you are counting toward a pet&#8217;s birthday or the holidays, our <a href=\"/shipping-delivery/\">Shipping &amp; Delivery</a> page has a worked example of how business days add up.</p>\n<h2>5. Emails you can expect from us</h2>\n<p>Order emails come from Pet Petal and mention your order number. Adding support@petpetal.shop to your contacts helps them reach your inbox rather than a spam folder.</p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Order confirmation:</strong> sent as soon as you check out. It lists every item, the personalisation you typed, the delivery address and the order number you need for the form above. Read it carefully: within 24 hours you can still ask for changes.</li>\n<li><strong>On its way:</strong> sent when your order leaves us, with tracking details where they are available.</li>\n<li><strong>Change or cancellation confirmed:</strong> sent after we act on a request you emailed.</li>\n<li><strong>Refund or store credit issued:</strong> sent when a refund goes back to your original payment method or store credit is added. Store credit never expires.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our replies to your questions also come from support@petpetal.shop, within 24 hours on business days. If an email seems to be missing, check every folder before writing, because filters sometimes move order emails away from the main inbox.</p>\n<h2>6. Tracking orders for more than one pet or person</h2>\n<h3>Several pieces in one order</h3>\n<p>If you ordered three acrylic ornaments for three cats in one cart, they share one order number. Enter that number once and you see the whole order. If the pieces leave in separate parcels, you may receive more than one shipping email.</p>\n<h3>Several orders</h3>\n<p>Each order has its own number and its own confirmation. If you placed separate orders, for example garden slates going to siblings in Auckland and Perth, look up each order number on its own.</p>\n<h3>A gift sent to someone else</h3>\n<p>When you send a memorial teardrop suncatcher to a friend in Halifax, all emails about the order come to you, the buyer, and not to your friend. You can look it up here with your own email, and pass on any details to your friend whenever it feels right.</p>\n<h2>7. When something looks wrong</h2>\n<h3>The status has not changed for a while</h3>\n<p>If your order still shows Processing after 3 business days, or the journey has gone quiet for a long time, email us with your order number. We check what is happening on our side and with the delivery service, and we reply within 24 hours on business days.</p>\n<h3>It is later than the usual window</h3>\n<p>If your parcel has not arrived by the end of the usual 8–17 business days, please write to us with your order number and the delivery address. We look into each late or missing parcel individually and talk the options through with you.</p>\n<h3>It says delivered, but it is not there</h3>\n<p>Look around doorsteps, side entrances, mail rooms, parcel lockers and with neighbours, and check for a card asking you to collect it. If it has not turned up after one more business day, email us and we will help.</p>\n<h3>It arrived damaged</h3>\n<p>If a ceramic ornament arrives with a chipped edge or a suncatcher is cracked, keep the item and packaging and email photos of both. Our <a href=\"/returns-exchanges-policy/\">Returns &amp; Exchanges Policy</a> explains what happens next, and every return comes with a free label.</p>\n<h2>8. Changing an order you have just looked up</h2>\n<p>If the form shows your order and you notice a mistake, such as &#8220;Mohci&#8221; instead of &#8220;Mochi&#8221; or the old address of the friend you are sending a gift to, act quickly. Changes and cancellations are possible within 24 hours of placing the order. Our <a href=\"/cancel-change-order/\">Cancel or Change an Order</a> page explains how to ask. After the 24 hours, every product can still be returned within 60 days of delivery for any reason.</p>\n<h2>9. Keeping your order details safe</h2>\n<p>Your order number and billing email are enough to see your order status, so treat them like any other personal detail. We will never ask for your password or payment details by email. If you receive a message that claims to be from Pet Petal and asks for them, do not reply; forward it to <a href=\"mailto:support@petpetal.shop\">support@petpetal.shop</a>. Our <a href=\"/privacy-policy/\">Privacy Policy</a> explains how we handle order information.</p>\n<h2>10. Still need help?</h2>\n<p>Pet Petal, 620 H St, Fairbury, NE 68352, US. We help by email only. Write to <a href=\"mailto:support@petpetal.shop\">support@petpetal.shop</a> or use <a href=\"/submit-ticket/\">Submit a Ticket</a>, and include your order number. We reply within 24 hours on business days. Our <a href=\"/help-center/\">Help Center</a> and <a href=\"/faqs/\">FAQs</a> cover many common questions, and the <a href=\"/refund-policy/\">Refund Policy</a> explains refunds.</p>\n","visible_characters":10920,"meta_description":"Look up a Pet Petal order with your order number and email.
